Duty station: Accra with upcountry travels
Contract duration: 1 year with a possibility of extension.

Inclusion Ghana (IG) is an organisation that works to promote the full inclusion of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families in socio-economic development through awareness-raising, education, sensitisation, and advocacy for their rights and needs.
IG is a member of the Ghana Federation of Disability Organizations (GFD), Down Syndrome International, Autism Society of West Africa, Inclusion Africa, and Inclusion International.
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Programme Manager to join our team. As the Programmes Manager, you will be responsible for the designing, developing, planning, implementation, and evaluation of our programmes aimed at promoting the rights and inclusion of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Ghana in accordance with the standards set out by the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Build, motivate and lead a high-performing team consisting of project staff and expert consultants.
• Direct, plan and coordinate the work of the programme staff including supervision and evaluation, training, and team building.
• Responsible for the design and development of projects and programmes for IG.
• Responsible for the efficient management of all project activities and resources (human,financial, physical/material assets, etc.) to meet expected results.
• Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual activity work plans as well as budgets based on expected year-end outputs.
• Prepare qualitative substantive and financial progress reports as may be required by the project. Prepare budget revisions as needed.
• Analyze trends in the programme implementation, identify and build issues of interest of the programme and recommend solutions to Management.
• Support fundraising initiatives of the organisation.
Qualification Required & Experience
Educational/Professional Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Sociology, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
• A professional certificate in project management will be an added advantage.
• Five years of full-time experience working with families with children with disabilities, acquired after degree.
• Experience in project management.
• Demonstrated experience leading improvement initiatives.
Knowledge
• A high level of knowledge and competency in any project management software.
• A high level of knowledge and competency in Microsoft Office especially Word & Excel
• Good understanding of the Logical Frame for project development and monitoring.
