Job Vacancy For Margin Assurance Manager
Job Summary
• The successful candidate will join as a Manager for Margin Assurance in the Finance Department.
• (S)He will report to the Head of Revenue Assurance and Fraud Management and will be responsible for using analytical techniques to identify opportunities for improving margins and identifying leakages.
• The Margin Assurance Manager will also be responsible for monitoring the revenue life cycle from end to end to identify areas of leakages, losses and areas of improvement.
• This includes profitability analysis by products and by customer to identify margin leakages and opportunities, monitoring of regular reconciliation, trend analysis of revenue streams and in-depth root-cause analysis.
Key Responsibilities
• Rules for RAFM Operations –
• Develop a road map to improve revenue assurance maturity across all business units & ensure all revenue streams are covered.
• Manage Key Projects for First Time Right Delivery and Risk Control Matrix Creation
• Risk Analysis –
• Analyze risks on revenue, cash and margins across the revenue life cycle and develop measures to mitigate identified risks and ensure highest levels of leakage avoidance in line with industry best practices.
• Set up New Controls review and recalibrate existing Control universe by performing Service Path and Revenue Path Analysis
• Revenue Assurance Operations Empowerment –
• Support in Issue Investigation
• Supporting in prioritizing issues for the Team by managing adhocs.
• Value Addition- Ensure the Revenue Assurance function is constantly adding value by preventing leakages and recovering revenues and margins.
• Dashboard Alarms & KPI Monitoring - Monitor all revenue streams to proactively identify leakages through dashboards, KPIs and alarms.
• Escalation Matrix: Design a working escalation matrix for Revenue Assurance Operations and ensure CFT adhere to the SLAs defined.
Governance -
• Fortnight CFT meetings to deliver the following:
• Secure Closure of Open Issues
• Improve Business partnering.
• Weekly CFO meeting to present the ff.
• Leakages and Value Addition
• Process Maturity Score
• Key Risk Projects
• Ensuring 100% Implementation and Execution of all VAS, Commissions & Regulatory Assurance.
• Ensure Controls on VAS are fully designed, implemented, executed and formalized to mitigate risks.
• Ensure VAS Assurance Framework Alarms are followed up and properly closed.
• Ensure validation of all Partner Revenue Share Agreements
• Monitor the Commission model and ensure there are no gaps to be exploited to increase the Commission cost.
• Validate the accuracy and correctness of monthly commissions in the business to avert any losses.
• Ensure post-mortem analysis of commissions is done.
• Review the Commission scripts to ensure the right scenarios have been captured.
• Ensure the front margins are being calculated correctly.
• Validate and ensure successful delivery/implementation of all Regulatory request.
• Carry out End to End Service Path Revenue Path Review
• Perform Periodic End to End review selected revenue stream to ensure that all controls have been.
• Fully implemented and complimentary controls are in place to plug out leakages as discussed with Manager.
• Perform control adequacy and effectiveness reviews of business processes that affect revenues.
• Carry out Risk Analysis on Products (Product Assurance)
• Participate in the Product Assurance Process to assess impact of Products on controls environment.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree Computer Science/I. T, Masters or Accounting certification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum of 4 years relevant working experience
• Broad knowledge of operations activities.
• Solid English language skills.
• Revenue/Billing Assurance and Risk related experience.
• Knowledge in SQL & Oracle Databases
• Solid use of Power BI and other analytical tools
