Job Vacancy For Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering



Job Summary

β€’ Provide team and role scope leadership for budget preparation and forecasting for cost centres and the application of financial concepts & principles. Partner with the Finance Centres of Excellence (CoE) and Shared Services Centre (SSC) for seamless integration and optimization of financial reporting and budgeting processes and programs.

Key Tasks

β€’ Manage the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term plans in co-ordination with stakeholders.
β€’ Evaluate environmental variables and market conditions to guide long-term plans to support current and future business needs.
β€’ Review and confirm operational budgets and the projection of expenses based on an understanding of cost centres in developing budget plans companywide.
β€’ Develop companywide budget guidelines.
β€’ Analyse and prepare companywide budget estimations and obtain the appropriate approvals per DOA.
β€’ Partner with functional leadership and their teams on budgeting, forecasting and spend. Provide the necessary insights to guide decision making.
β€’ Ensure adherence to the Groupwide enterprise performance calendar and timely completion of all phases of the appraisal cycle for the department.
β€’ Manage the reporting of results on a monthly basis with identified stakeholders, providing appropriate insights and explanation as required.
β€’ Present financial performance reports to Executive Committee and Senior Management.
β€’ Review results in line with business plans along with corresponding insights.
β€’ Review and provide inputs for financial planning, the budgeting and control process.
β€’ Proactive first line controls for department related risks. This includes regulatory risks.
β€’ Communicate and ensure adherence to all standards, statutory policies, procedures, and guidelines pertaining to role scope.

The duties listed are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time as dictated by the changing needs of the business. The postholder will be expected to undertake other duties as appropriate and as requested by his/her manager and Head of Department.

Qualification Required & Experience

Education:

β€’ Minimum of a Degree in Finance or a related field of study
β€’ Postgraduate Degree a plus
β€’ Chartered Accountant (CPA, CA, CFA, CMA) is a must

Experience:

β€’ Minimum of eight (8) years’ relevant experience.
β€’ With at least 5 years managerial/leadership level experience.
