Job Vacancy For Shift Engineer (ARU)



Overview

• The Shift Engineer at Kasapreko PLC Alcohol Rectification Unit (ARU) would be responsible for leading the operation of the plant production unit around the clock by ensuring full utilization and efficient use of resources.

Duties

• Monitoring & control of the operation of Rectification Unit as a whole through operation staff provided in shifts.
• To coordinate between different sections of the unit to solve any problem that may arise.
• To maintain the optimum process parameter as finalized and instructed by the management to maintain regular & steady production with good quality.
• Maintaining the records of consumption of raw materials. Also controlling the consumption of chemicals & minimize wastage.
• To make all the efforts to maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• To keep informed the management about any problems faced & also feedback the routine information.
• Overall monitoring of staff and trouble shooting.
• Monitoring of quality of product from raw material to finished products.
• Planning for routine and annual shutdowns of the plant or as per requirement.
• To supervise all maintenance jobs during shifts & issue. maintenance slips, safety permits etc as per laid down procedure.
• To coordinate with all the services departments such as Mechanical, Electrical, Instruments, Utilities, to achieve the objectives of the repair, where required.
• To monitor, control & regulate all the process parameters of the plant to maintain regular & steady production with good quality in liaison with QC Lab.

• A conscious SAFETY champion at all levels of operation.

Qualification Required & Experience

• A degree in Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Proficiency in math and technical subjects is preferred.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience and an exposure in a Chemical manufacturing or industrial Unit
• Have sound knowledge of process plant equipment and can operate the different types of pumps, cooling towers, boilers, distillation columns etc.
• Have sound knowledge of plant operation through DCS / PLC and worked previously on them.
