The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is inviting applications from qualified professionals for the under-listed position: Project Administrative Assistant (PAA)

Roles

The Project Administrative Assistant, under the guidance of the project manager, will:

• Assist in day-to-day project management, monitoring and evaluation and report preparation
• Maintain and organize project documentation for easy access
• Provide administrative, logistical and financial assistance, including maintaining records of project funds and expenditures
• Ensure compliance with financial rules, review expenditures, validate FACE forms and provide necessary financial information for audits and project decisions
• Consolidate financial reports and liaise with responsible parties on financial matters

Qualification Required & Experience

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in public administration
• At least 5 years of relevant experience preferably in a project management setting with international funding agencies (experience with UNDP or UN is an asset)
• Proficiency in MS Excel and excellent English skills
