Job Purpose

• The Security Officer will ensure the security and safety of the company's premises, employees, customers and assets by monitoring activities, controlling access and responding promptly to any security incidents

The Role reports to the Operation Manager

Areas of Responsibility include:

• Ensuring the security of company assets, including vehicles, people and equipment
• Preventing incidents such as theft, vandalism or unauthorized access to company property
• Always maintaining a professional and approachable demeanour
• Verifying the identity of all people entering or existing the premises
• Maintaining a log of visitors, deliveries, and vehicle entries
• Acting swiftly in response to alarms, emergencies, security breaches and during evacuation procedures in case of emergencies
• Reporting all incidents to the appropriate supervisor or authorities and maintaining detailed documentation

Qualification Required & Experience

• Minimum of Senior High School Certificate or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years of experience will be an added advantage
• Strong observation skills and the ability to identify and report suspicious activity
• Must be between the ages of 18 and 35
• Must be a Ghanaian by nationality
• Height: Male - 5.6ft and Female - 5.2ft
