About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced tutor to provide personalized, in-home instruction in Math and Science for junior high students. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, skilled in simplifying complex concepts, and capable of fostering a supportive learning environment.

Position: Home Tutor
Subjects: Math and Science
Grade Level: Junior High
Location: Adenta
Employment Type: Part-time ( weekend )

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging, tailored lessons in Math and Science.
• Help students understand challenging concepts, complete homework, and prepare for exams.
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods as needed.
• Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Communicate with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress.

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, Science, or a related field (or currently pursuing one).
• Proven experience teaching or tutoring Math and Science at the junior high level.
• Strong understanding of Cambridge and GES curriculum.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, reliability, and the ability to build rapport with students.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with specific tools, e.g., online teaching platforms or resources.
• Creative teaching methods to engage students effectively.
