A large multinational bank seeks to recruit competent individuals for the following position in Accra and Kumasi:- Relationships Manager

Position Summary

The Relationships Manager is responsible for the creation of risk assets and deposit mobilization to ensure that the branch targets are achieved and surpassed through effective relationship management and supervision of team members responsible for customer accounts.

Main Duties And Responsibilities

•  Assist in the preparation of Branch annual marketing plans and strategies for liability generation to enable achievement of targeted growth objectives
•  Market the bank's products to ensure favourable market response and optimum build up of revenue
•  Create and manage risk assets to ensure quality loan portfolio
•  Coordinate activities of team members
•  Facilitating, establishing and maintaining effective relationships with new and existing customers

Competencies Required

Education And Work Experience

•  Minimum of 1st degree 2nd class lower division
•  Minimum of 4 years experience in Relationship Management

Technical

•  Balance sheet management
•  Ability to complete favourable negotiations
•  Strong analytical skills, especially in credit analysis and understanding of financial statements
•  Demonstrate understanding of Trade related business

Managerial

•  Ability to plan, coordinate and follow up to monitor people and work activities
•  Ability to design and implement control systems
•  Ability to coach and or mentor subbordinates
•  Presentation skills

Personality

•  Ability to relate with people of all levels
•  Good verbal and written communication
•  High level of integrity
•  Assertiveness - ability to articulate views and follow through issues
