Transport Officer Wanted For Employment By Energy Commission



The Energy Commission seeks results-oriented individuals for the above position.

Job Purpose:

The job holder will work under the supervision of the Head of HR to ensure an efficient management of the Commission's fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

. Prepare and keep inventory of all vehicles of the Commission
. Supervise drivers of the Commission on daily basis
. Prepare work schedules for drivers
. Prepare and enforce maintenance schedules for all vehicles
. Collect, analyse and keep records of fuel and maintenance cost of all Commission's vehicles for use as reference for vehicle management
. Advise Management on the Commission's vehicles and on repairs of vehicles
. Advise Management on the acquisition of vehicles and accessories for vehicles
. Advise management on policy matters relating to transport issues of the Commission
. Ensure that documentation on the Commission's vehicles is updated periodically

Qualification Required Or Experience

. HND in Automobile/Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience
. Motor Vehicle Technician III of City and Guilds with a minimum of three (3) years post qualification experience

Competencies:

. Possess excellent co-ordination and organizational skills
. Ability to work with little or no supervision
. Be a team player and have good interpersonal relations
. Have good communication skills with a high IT literacy
. Possess a valid driving license
