Job Vacancy For Workshop Manager At Premium Connections (Kumasi)
A multinational logistics Company that has its clients spread across various industries and has its fleet maintenance workshop in Kumasi is currently recruiting as follows:
Gross Salary: GHc 1,800 – 2,300
Primary Purpose of the Role:
Overall responsibility for fleet maintenance and repairs and ensuring that fleet down time does not surpass maximum allowable level
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Ensuring that fleet repairs are effective and executed with agreed time frames
• Adherence to preventive maintenance schedule
• Ensure stock availability of parts and maintain relationships with parts suppliers
• Inspection of parts delivered by suppliers to ensure that they are as per order and of the highest quality
• Monitor, report and propose corrective/preventive measures against any event or action that poses an operational or financial risk to the company
• Manage the P&L for the workshop
• Build relationships with transport managers within the various business units to ensure satisfaction with services rendered
• Workshop quality control and compliance with corporate & statutory obligations towards safety, health and environment
• Ensure production of timely and accurate management information and reports as required
• To administer and report KPIs for review by the Transport Director
Qualification Required & Experience
• Relevant University Degree with at least 5 years experience in maintenance and workshop operations
• Experience in repair and maintenance of heavy duty tractors such as IVECO, MAN, DAF etc
• Ability to lead workshop team for efficient service delivery to internal customers
• A qualification in transport and logistics will be an added advantage
