Job Summary:
• Assist Marketing Manager to deploy marketing strategies and plans to drive awareness and trial of DKT’s brands and products.
• Work with Marketing Manager to effectively monitor radio and TV placements according to media plans.
• Assist Marketing Manager on appropriate designs and concepts for ATL and BTL productions and see through the productions to the final product.
• Work with Marketing Manager on the implementation of a new youth focused brand; design and implementation of Marketing and Communication plans and marketing materials for the brand.
• Assist Marketing Manager in the management of DKT’s social marketing platforms.
• Be responsible for effectively managing all contracted promotional events and activities to the benefit of DKT Ghana.
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assist Marketing Manager to effectively implement marketing strategies and plans to drive awareness and trial of DKT’s brands and products.
1) Monitor implementation of marketing strategies and plans and draw attention to any variance
2) Monitor actual spend on implementation of marketing strategies and plans and ensure that they conform to budget
• Work with Marketing Manager to effectively monitor radio and TV placements according to media plans.
1) Design a template/tool/method to monitor radio and TV placement
2) Deploy the template/tool/method and ensure that radio and TV placements are according to media plans.
3) Work with media consultant to correct any variance between actual media placements and media plan.
• Assist Marketing Manager on appropriate designs and concepts for ATL and BTL productions and see through the productions to the final product.
1) Work with Marketing Manager and design Consultants to design, evaluate and approve any new design concepts.
2) Search for and Negotiate contracts with vendors for the production of ATL and BTL items and see through the productions to the final item.
3) Follow up on Sales team for their marketing materials and information needs for effective marketing.
• Work with Marketing Manager on the implementation of a new youth focused brand; design and implementation of Marketing and Communication plans and marketing materials for the brand.
1) Assist Marketing Manager in the development and execution of marketing and communication plans for the Youth Brand
2) Take responsibility for the production of ATL, BTL and non-traditional marketing materials including advertising, promotional items for the Youth brand.
• Work with Marketing Manager in the management of DKT‘s Social media marketing.
1) Assist in the management of DKT’s Social Media platforms, including content and design.
2) Think up strategies to build up our online presence and audience.
3) Monitor and update DKT websites within our portofolio to ensure they are up to date and relevant.
• Be responsible for effectively managing all contracted promotional events and activities to the benefit of DKT Ghana
1) Negotiate favorable terms and draw up contracts (within DKT’S procedures as set out in our SOP) between DKT and vendors contracted for promotional events and monitor the fulfillment of such contracts by appointed vendors.
2) Be in charge of all branding materials and ensure effective branding of event venues.
3) Ensure payments of all contracted vendors within DKT’s procedures as set out in our SOP.
Other Duties:
• Perform other duties as may be assigned by Marketing Manager periodically.
• Ensure confidentiality in the handling of all business related issues
Qualification Required & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
Work Experience:
• Minimum of 2 Years FMCG marketing experience
• Experience in social Media Marketing
• Experience in an International company
• Experience in Marketing planning and management
