Our client is accepting applications for a Pest Control Technician to be based in Accra, Ghana.

Summary:

•  This position is responsible for servicing residential and commercial customers’ pesticide needs by providing timely professional indoor and outdoor pest control applications, diagnosing and correcting infestations, and verbal professional advice, excellent customer service, and reliable results.

Responsibilities:

•  Responsible for the day to day operation of a pest control work by using training provided to ensure the most efficient pest solution for our customers
•  Follow a daily schedule, ensuring timely arrival at client’s location. (A company vehicle is provided.)
•  Communicate with customers to ensure satisfaction. Discuss the scope of services provided with the customer.
•  Apply all products according to schedule, safety procedures, and label instructions.
•  Respond to customer service requests, address concerns and provide verbal and written communication in a timely manner.
•  Return customer calls within 48 hours and notify customers of treatment details upon request.
•  Maintain a professional image through daily attention to vehicle and equipment maintenance and cleanliness as well as personal, professional appearance.
•  Accurately and professionally complete all service related paperwork.
•  Obey all vehicle policies and procedures.
•  Strong Organizational skills and ability to work independently
•  Customer Service Skills
•  Pest control knowledge including products and services.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Problem Solving and Decision Making
•  Entrepreneurial sales approach
•  Oral and written communication
•  Works well in a team environment
•  Experienced EPA licensed Pest Operator
•  SHS / HND certificate or above
•  The work environment is a combination of field work and home visits. An individual in this role may have to deal with outside elements as they are calling on residential or commercial accounts and may have to walk large expanses of outside lawn and landscaped areas. Maybe required to lift and carry at certain times. Must be able to work weekends
•  Drivers License an advantage.
