Summary
Responsible for the management and coordination of activities at the machine shop to help improve and maintain the
quality of blinds produced and furniture assembled for our clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

•  Responsible for operating the venetian and vertical blinds machines
•  Supervise the assembling of  blinds and furniture
•  Assist in the maintenance and repairs of the production machines
•  Prepare blind samples for the shops
•  Assist during stock taking
•  Inspect final installation of blinds for our clients to ensure quality of work where necessary
•  Any other related duties or responsibilities as may be assigned to you by the Production Manager

Qualification Required & Experience

•  HND in Mechanical Engineering or any other related technical field with equivalent qualification
•  At least 3years working experience in a high production environment
•  3 years of supervisory experience
•  Must be willing to work for long hours
•  Must have in-depth knowledge in the production of  blinds
•  Highly motivated and energetic person
•  Strong leadership skills, independent thinking, strong organizational and planning abilities
•  excellent analytical and problem solving skills are essential
•  Must be computer literate
