Management Information systems Specialist wanted for immediate employment by World Bank

Qualification Required & Experience

•  At least a Master's degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Information Technology/Management information system/Statistics or related field from a recognised unversity
•  A professional certicate such as CISA, (Certifed Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager) and a membership of a professional body (i.e ISACA) is an added advantage
•  At least 5 (five) years of relevant experience and demonstrated ability in system development designing and administering mangement information systems, installation work and/or database application systems development work
•  Thorough knowledge of systems analysis and design techniques, security and management advisory services etc.
•  Strong private sector background and experience including references from large organisations
•  Good knowledge and proven experience of Government procedures and entities
•  Fluency in English language and excellent communications skills
•  Experience in data processing and with computers
•  Familiarity with the Ghanaian institutional setting in the area of Youth Development, Private Sector and Skills Development
•  Strong apitude and proven record of working with teams that include government staff, field based staff and development partners
•  Excellent organisational skills and demonstrated ability to work independently without any supervision and deliver assignments in a timely manner under time constraints
•  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
•  A record of prioritising and managing time to deliver high priority and top quality products, This ability must be coupled with a tolerance of and capability to manage significant uncertainties in the work programme
