The ARB Apex Bank Limited (Apex Bank) is a Public Limited Liability Company Incorporated under the Companies Code (Act 179 (1963) and owned by the Rural and Community Banks in ghana. It has been licensed by the Bank of Ghana and acts as a 'Mini Central Bank' for the Rural and Community Banks (RCBs).

Job Summary

The ARB Apex Bank invites applications from suitably qualified applicants for the above position.

Job Purpose:
Implement Security Policies and Programmes for the ARB Apex Bank and RCBs to ensure information assets are adequately protected.

Duties and Responsibilities:

•  Implement security policies and procedures that will ensure adquate protection and use of information
•  Ensure proper information security clearance in accordance with the established information security policies and procedures
•  Carry out End User information security awareness training within the Apex Bank and RCBs network
•  Perform information security risk assessments
•  Implement information security policies and procedures for the organisation
•  Implement system-related security plans throughtout the organisation's network that will ensure information protection
•  Monitor compliance with information protection
•  Monitor the internal control systems to ensure that appropriate access levels are maintained
•  Implement Disaster Recovery Programmes
•  Test Disaster Recovery plans regularly

Qualification Required & Experience

BSc Computer Science/Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or Information Technology with at least three (3) years experience in Information Security.

•  Must be a certified Information Security personnel with accredited Information Security Certifications, such as Comptia Security+, SSCP and CCNA Security
•  Good understanding of IT Risk Management Principles
•  Good understanding of security architecture and security capabilities of major operating systems and Systems Security such as: Windows Server 2008 and up, Linux, Database Security, Firewalls, Intrusion Prevention Systems, Directory Services, IP Telephony, Router and Switch security
•  Good understanding of IT Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity
