As part of our expansion programme and business strategy, we require the services of a smart, confident, performance-oriented and experienced professionals to be employed as:- Risk Manager

Job Responsibilities

•  Evaluates, assesses, measures, and recommends actions to appropriate manage risks
•  Responsible for ensuring the quality of the loan portfolio
•  Prepares risk management strategies and policies to be followed by the company, and submits such strategies and policies for approval, monitoring and implementation
•  Develops, updates the Risk Management Manual and ensure that it is complied with by all concerned
•  Periodically reviews the country’s system of internal controls which shall promote effective and efficient operations, reliable financial and regulatory reporting and compliance with relevant laws, regulations and policies of the company
•  Continuously evaluates the independence and overall effectiveness of the company's risk management functions
•  Participate and periodic review and evaluation of all company policies and procedures developed for its key activities

Qualification Required & Experience

•  University degree in Economics, accounting or business administration and at least 3 years of experience in managing risks in regulated financial intermediates

Special / Personal Attributes

•  Very good analytical and report writing skills
•  Good knowledge of the requirements of Bank of Ghana, and other regulatory agencies
•  Proficient in MS office applications
