Our client is a subsidiary of a market leader in aggregates and a prominent player in the fields of cement, concrete and other downstream activities in forty countries worldwide including Ghana. They invite applications from suitable, qualified and highly motivated professionals to fill the following position:- Quality Control Officer

Based in Beposo, the Quality control officer will report to Project Manager and to EHS Manager in dotted line. His duty is to manage the quality control of the aggregates produced by WAQL and to carry out technical studies related to aggregates, concrete and road businesses.

Tasks and Responsibilities

•  Testing the aggregates quality
•  Staying in contact with quarry supervisors in order to maintain good quality control on site
•  Keeping records of tests and anticipating issues
•  Preparing reports on quality control for management team
•  Carrying technical studies under supervision of management team
•  Investigating auxiliary applications of specific products for end customers
•  Participating to lobbies with strategy and corporate affairs department

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Degree in civil engineering from a reputable university
•  Minimum 5 years professional experience in similar positions
•  Excellent knowledge of the downstream businesses of the aggregate business (concrete road...) and the products applications
•  Showing high organisation and analyses skills
