The Anglican University College of Technology (ANG.U.TECH), is a multi-campus institution. Each campus houses a College with a collection of a number of related schools. The aim of ANG.U.TECH is to train high level science and technology human resources in a holistic manner and conduct innovative research to provide for the technological skills and extension services for the country.

Job Summary

Applications are invited for lecturers who can teach a combination of the under-listed courses in the health programmes of the School of Food & Health Sciences at the Nkoranza Campus of the Anglican University College of Technology.

•  Environmental Sciences
•  General Pathology
•  Medical Microbiology
•  Pharmacology
•  Physiology

Dutie/Responsibilities:

•  A lecturer at ANG.U.TECH should have extensive knowledge of the subject, keep up to date with new ideas and developments in the subject area, have excellent spoken and written communication skills, and have the confidence to lecture to large or small groups, either face-to-face, or using electronic media
•  She or he must have the commitment to undertake original research, write up research findings for publication, and update lectures based on his or her research results

Terms of Appointment: The appointments shall be full time

Remuneration: Very Competitive

Qualification Required & Experience

Required Competency:

•  The applicant should possess a good first degree, have a researched post-graduate degree, preferably a Ph.D in a relevant subject area and should have teaching, professional practice and/or research experience

(Applicants with a researched Master's degree will be appointed Assistant Lecturers)
