Description Of Job

Our client, an architectural firm in Ghana seeks to add a new member to its team. The incumbent will perform the following duties:

. Prepare information regarding design, structure specifications, materials, colour, equipment, estimated costs, and construction time.
. Consult with client to determine functional and spatial requirements of structure.
. Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents.
. Plan layout of project.
. Prepare contract documents for building contractors.
. Prepare scale drawings

Qualification Required Or Experience

. Post Graduate Diploma in Architecture
. Must demonstrate excellent design ability across all types of buildings and environments
. Must be able to write technical and non-technical reports, letters etc
. Must possess an all round verbal skills, with negotiation and presentation skills - to Committees, Senior Officers and clients etc
. Must be efficient in the use of electronic systems (eg e-mail, Word and data systems), be able to work in AutoCAD and 3D rendering packages.
. Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
. Ability to manage, motivate and support a team of technical and professional staff
. Ability to identify problems, initiate solutions and ensure appropriate action is taken
. Must have a flexible approach towards work and attend evening meetings as required
. Must be able to travel to any location and be able to inspect/survey construction sites
. Experience in Interior design
