Job Profile
About the position

. Collection of specimens using aseptic techniques
. The phlebotomist's role requires a prefessional courteous, and understanding manager in all contacts with the patient
. Effective communication-both verbal and non-verbal is essential

Qualification

. Senior High School Certificate
. Diploma or Certificate in Nursing

Experience: 2-3 years prior experience in similar environment is essential

Key Requirements

. Ability to work in a team environment under stressful situations
. Must have self-motivated and able to work independently
. Basic computer skills
. Attention to detail required
. Ability to read, write, speak and comprehend English in order to follow instructions and label products
. Safe disposal of blood and bodily fluids
. Position will require the flexibility to work a variety of shifts that may include weekends, holidays and nights
