Responsible for installation/configuration and maintenance of end-user computing systems (EUC) and for end-users consultation and support aggregating the following roles: End-user Computing Engineer, Help Desk Specialist.

This individual is accountable for:

•  PCs (laptops / desktops) and their peripherals
•  Printing/scanning hardware
•  Audio/ video/presentation hardware
•  Local telephony
•  EUC LAN
•  Local Internet connections
•  Windows client OSs
•  MS Office & common applications (readers, viewers, browsers etc).Usual tasks include:
1) IT users 1st line support / troubleshooting in case of any kind of issues
2) Install / rebuild workstations and configure end-user hardware and services
3) Collect and track users requests
4) Develop and maintain operational, installation, configuration and recovering procedures
5) Repair and recover EUC from hardware or software failures
6) Support printing / scanning / audio / video / presentation hardware
7) Troubleshoot telephony issues, contact telecom operator as a 2nd line support
8) Manage / troubleshoot LAN connections
9) Assist users with personal Internet connections management
10) Apply OS / common applications patches and upgrades on a regular basis
11) Support and troubleshhot MS Office & other common applications
21) Perform periodic Help Desk reporting.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  At least 2 years of IT related higher education
•  Microsoft certification will be an advantage
•  From 2 years of IT support / systems management experience
•  Good understanding of Windows systems including Office applications
•  Excellent communication skills
