Job Vacancy For Finance Manager At Maxam



Maxam, one of the leaders in the Mining services industry is looking for suitably qualified individuals to fill the above position.

Main Responsibilities:

•  Oversee and direct all accounting and finance activities at the Subsidiary, including working capital, and provide timely and accurate reports to the Group Finance Department
•  Monitor and control CAPEX and cash flows, including projections
•  Oversee Budget and forecast process
•  Provide direction to Subsidiary staff in conjunction with annual audit or other due diligence
•  Tax planning and compliance at the Subsidiary level
•  Provide strategic financial input to the decision-making process at the Subsidiary

Qualification Required & Experience

Skill and Competency Requirements:

•  Leadership, strategic and business vision
•  Negotiation, controlling and activity follow up
•  Open to change and supportive of cultural adaptation
•  Internal and external client orientation
•  Minimum of a University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics
•  Master's degree in Finance or Professional qualification such CPA, ICA, ACCA is desirable
•  A minimum of five years of Finance experience with at least two years in a management role
•  Good technical knowledge (Budgetary process and techniques, Cash management, accurate cash flow projection modelling, accounting close process)
•  Good understanding of Ghanaian tax regulations
•  Knowledge of Financial planning software packages is desirable
•  Fluency in English, local languages, other languages are valued
