Job Vacancy For Manager Of International Regulations At Securities and Exchange Commission



The Securities and Exchange Commission, a statutory body responsible for regulating the securities industry in Ghana to ensure, inter alia the orderly, fair and equitable dealing in securities, invites qualified Ghanaians for the above post.

Duties:
The applicant will report to the Head, Human Resource and International Relations and will assist with:

• Preparation and editing of technical reports and publications of the International Organisation for Securities Commissions (IOSCO)
• Reviewing and preparing comments on IOSCO's Exposure Drafts for submission to IOSCO
• Responding and commenting on information from IOSCO and other international securities regulators
• Establishing and maintaining co-operative relationships with representatives of the Africa Middle East Regional Committee (AMERC) and Emerging Markets Committee (EMC) of IOSCO, and other international communities and public interest groups

Qualification Required & Experience

The applicants should have the following qualifications:

• BSc Administration (Accounting) or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 9 years post qualification experience; or
• BL with finance background and a minimum of 6 years post qualification working experience; or
• CA/ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience
• MBA in Finance will be an advantage
• Knowledge and experience in securities market operation is desirable
• Must be computer literate
