G-Pak is wholly owned subsidiary of Graphic Communications Group Limited. The business includes printing, production and sale of labels, cartons, literary articles, printing and publishing of magazines and journals. We invite applications from qualified persons to fill the following vacancy:

Production Manager

Key Accountabilities

. Responsible for all the printing related activities ensuring all output, quality and cost targets are achieved
. Responsible for pre-press production including image setting, process development and development of film
. Responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of the printing, plant and machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions and best practice.
. Drive printing performance through continuous improvement programmes, making an impact across board, from output and efficiency to safety and people development.
. Responsible for security of raw materials in the press, work-in-progress and finished products
. Responsible for specification of factor inputs for printing.

Skills / Competencies required

. Track record and proven ability in commercial print production processes and procedures
. Must be a team player with a high sense of commitment and honesty.
. Ability to work to strict deadlines and under minimum supervision.
. Excellent verbal and written communications
. Strong computer literacy skills

Minimum Qualifications

. HND or certificate in Printing Craft Technology from any of the Technical Institutions / Polytechnic or its equivalent with five (5) years working experience in a print production environment
. Certificate or working knowledge of industry requirements for safety, Health and Environment will be an added advantage
. Applicants should demonstrate working knowledge in imaging, imposition and reprography.
