SOS Children's Villages, a social welfare organization that provides orphaned, abandoned and destitute children with a stable and permanent family home and educational opportunities is inviting applications from dynamic and suitably qualified persons for the above position.

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A first degree in education, a postgraduate qualification would be an added advantage
•  Minimum grade of Assistant Director in the GES plus 5 years experience in the service or 5 years as Head of a private educational institution with proven traits of leadership skills
•  Must be highly organised, efficient, able to work independently, use initiative and meet deadlines
•  Effective communication and interpersonal skills are absolutely essential
•  The ideal candidate should have strong organisational skills, School management skills, ability to write proposals and be computer literate. (Very good skills in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
•  The successful applicant should be capable of assisting in formulating educational, child welfare and development policies for SOS schools and villages
