A reputable and leading Rural Bank in the Northern Region is seeking to recruit qualified persons to fill the following position:-  Deputy Credit Manager

Job Purpose

Shall generally be responsible for managing the credit department

Key Responsibilities

•  Co-ordinates and supervises the general credit co-ordinator, microfinance co-ordinator and the special purpose credit co-ordinator
•  Handle credit risk management
•  Assist in designing the annual credit risk of the Bank
•  Assist in reviewing the performance of the Bank’s credit products and refining them

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A University degree with a minimum of Eight (8) years in banking experience, Five (5) years should have been in credit operations in an officer’s grade in any bank
•  A post-graduate training in credit or financial management, or an equivalent professional or banking qualification will be an advantage
•  Must have done National Service
