A reputable and leading Rural Bank in the Northern Region is seeking to recruit qualified persons to fill the following position:-  Special Purpose Credit Co-ordinator

Job Purpose

Shall be responsible for the Bank’s Credit Schemes and other duties as may be determined by management or immediate supervisor

Key Responsibilities

•  Explore donors/venues for obtaining fund’s for special credit schemes
•  Ensure that special credit schemes are implemented according to donor’s terms and conditions
•  Ensure the reporting requirements of donors for special credit schemes are compiled with by the bank
•  Performing any other functions that will enhance the special credit schemes
•  Effective supervision of the personnel of special credit scheme

Qualification Required & Experience

•  A university degree with a minimum of seven years banking experience Five (5) years of which should have been in managing credit microfinance operations in an officer’s grade in any bank
•  GCE O’ and A’ Levels with Ten years banking experience Seven (7) years should have been in General Credit/Microfinance operations in an officer’s grade in any bank
•  A post-graduate certificate, training in credit specially in microfinance or financial management or an equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage
•  Must have done National Service
