PATH seeks an Executive Coordinator to provide administrative support to the Chief of Party (CoP) of a new project in Ghana, implemented under the global MalariaCare partnership, a USAID - funded program available to support case management support to PMI focus and other countries. MalariaCare aims to achieve universal diagnosis and appropriate case management for malaria by strengthening the capacity of malaria-affected countries at all levels of the health system to provide high-quality diagnostic and treatment services for malaria and other febrile illnesses. This position reports to the Chief of Party for MalariaCare, Ghana.

Job Description
Based in Accra, the Executive Coordinator will be responsible for the following duties:
• Provides wide range of complex and confidential administrative support to executive leadership.
• Type, edit, format, proof read, distribute, and file correspondence, reports, and other project-related documents.
• Assist with word processing, formatting and document preparation.
• Arrange for events, meetings and conferences as requested.
• Arrange office-wide events and meetings.
• Manage schedules, arranges appointments, travel, meetings, etc.
• May act as liaison on behalf of executive to ensure flow of information on to others in organization.
• Research background information for meeting, reports, speeches, and executive correspondence.
• Keep track of and monitor staff leave.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Strong computer skills (demonstrated proficiency) using MS Office 2003 Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook.
• Proficiency and familiarity with the Internet.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrated effectiveness producing accurate work product with attention to detail, even while under deadline pressure.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to excellent customer service.
• Proven success establishing effective working relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, with collaborating partners, and with representatives of donor agencies and government ministries.
• Flexible, detail oriented, organized, adaptable to changing priorities, and able to take the initiative and to meet strict deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
Required Experience
• At least 3 years working in a similar position.
• College graduate.
• Experience working with international organizations is a plus.
Candidates must have legal authorization to work and currently reside in Ghana.
