Purpose Of Role:     

•   To ensure that contract work is prioritized, tracked, checked, and invoiced, in line with business need.
•   To proactively ensure that Fixed Services staff and external contractors who undertake Vodafone delivery do so in atimely, professional and effective manner, compliant with all relevant legislative requirements and consistent with the aspirations of Vodafone customer service targets.
•   Maintaining awareness of the contractual conditions currently in place
•   Understanding the implications of health and safety regulations
•   To forecast and ensure resource availability in Fixed Services to meet business demands.

Key Accountabilities:     

•   Preparing work orders for contractor works
•   Coordinating contractor performance on the F.S. civil works contract
•   Undertaking costs analysis for repair and maintenance project work
•   Allocating work to subcontractors in conjunction with SCM;
•   Analyse, undertake root cause analysis and evaluate data, including benchmark data etc from Management Information Systems. E.g. invoicing, quality audit results, quality team feedback, supply chain feedback.
•   Ensuring that invoices are checked for integrity & accuracy and arranging authorisation and processing through to supply chain
•   Interface between new FS allocation control and contractors to ensure contract work is effectively prioritised in line with customer commitment.
•   Sampling and distributing the contractor jobs that need auditing to the contract performance supervisors.  Ensuring completion of audits and prepare output for commercial operations manager to socialise with contractor

Qualification Required & Experience

Person Specification:     

•   Knowledge of the Access network.
•   Previous experience of managing/coordinating operational type contracts.
•   Excellent Communication Skills with customers, suppliers and colleagues, at all levels including director level internally and externally in large companies.
•   Ability to challenge current practices and processes and drive through business performance improvements.
•   Experience in the use of Microsoft suite
•   Experience in a commercial environment with knowledge of product development, process management, business improvement, or safety and quality management.
•   Experience in budget and long term forecast
•   Knowledge in civil works contracts
