The Volta River Authority invites applications from suitably qualified Ghanaians for the above position on LOCUM Basis.

Job Function:
Provide Dispensing services in the Akosombo, Accra and Aboadze Hospitals of the Health Service Department.

•   Provide General Dispensing duties
•   Costing of prescription and in-patient Pharmacy bills
•   Filling of insurance claim forms
•   Manufacturing of extemporaneous preparations
•   Perform any other duties assigned by the Pharmacist

Remuneration: In accordance with VRA's compensation policy on locum

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must hold a minimum of Dispensing Technician Certificate Part III
•   Must have a two years working experience
•   Must be willing to run normal/shift duties
•   Knowledge in occupational health and safety would be an added advantage

In Addition The Candidate Must:

•   Be Computer Literate
•   Have good communication skills
•   Have demonstrated ability to provide leadership and guidance to staff
•   Be a team player, a good negotiator, with demonstrated ability to motivate staff and encourage participation in decision-making process
•   Have a strong analytical, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills
•   Be energetic, proactive, dedicated, performance-driven and capable of working under stress
