Job Summary

Compassion International Ghana, a Christian child development organization, invites application for a Child Survival/Health Program Specialist (CSP)

Core Duties and Responsibilities

•   Has a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ.
•   Serves as an advocate for children around the world who live in poverty.
•   Interprets and contextualizes global CSP curriculum and parameters.
•   Supports the implementation of CSP with local churches as a subject matter expert
•   Monitors and evaluates CSP outcomes, indicators and activities.
•   Works with PF and industry resources to identify Child Survival needs and trends.
•   Delivers learning opportunities within CSP specialization.
•   Collaborates with other Health Specialist in the implementation of the overall health program in Compassion International Ghana.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Mature Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
•   University degree in Early Childhood Development, Pediatrics or Public Health, or related area of expertise.
•   Three years experience in early childhood development, pediatric health or related area.
•   Experience in designing, implementing and evaluating early childhood programs.
•   Ability to support, train and coach program generalists in Child Survival Program implementation.
•   Ability to integrate and analyze program data and provide clear reporting, interpretation and recommendations on program strategies and implementation.
•   Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in technical writing and curriculum development.
•   Computer proficiency, experience with the Internet, applications of Microsoft Office and presentation and publication software.
•   Able to work collaboratively cross-culturally, inter-denominationally and cross-organizationally.
