ASA Savings and Loans Limited is the sister organization of ASA International, working in nine countries in Asia and Africa with a view to create access to credit facility among the small and medium type of entrepreneurs. ASA is looking for suitably qualified persons to fill the above position.

Responsibilities:

•   To improve the operational systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -  specifically, support better management reporting, business process and organizational planning
•   To coordinate, supervise and control all ASA savings and loans operational activities
•   To ensure that report to Bank of Ghana are submitted timely
•   To develop detailed operational policies, procedures and standards and ensure compliance
•   To strategically plan and budget for the company to achieve profit and branch expansion
•   To ensure efficient and effective management of service delivery to the customers
•   To ensure optimum utilization of the company resources and manage operational risk
•   To oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals
•   To oversee the short and long-term financial and managerial reporting
•   Interested in extensive field visit on regular basis

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Potential candidates must have at least 8-10 yrs banking experience, 5 yrs of which must be at managerial position
•   Proven ability to lead, motivate, and build a successful team
•   Must possess an excellent negotiating and influencing skills
•   Ability to manage operations within budgetary constraints
•   Ability to build and maintain a strong and effective relationship with suppliers and customers
•   Excellent analytical & problem solving skills coupled with decision making ability
•   Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access
•   Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
•   Excellent knowledge of banking operations, products, practices & regulation of BOG and Government
•   Excellent interpersonal skills and collaborative management style
•   Applicants must not be more than 45 years old

Education qualification:

Candidate must have degreee qualification in business administration or related field; Masters and professional degrees will be an added advantage

•   Prospective candidate must be a Ghanaian
