Our client, a newly established stone quarry in Northern Ghana requires the services of the following personnel for immediate employment.

Responsibilities

•   Ability to influence key stakeholders and drive successful outcomes
•   Implement strategies that monitor production, cost and OHS&E control
•   Effectively manage budgets and schedules
•   Influences, leads and mentors employees
•   A motivated self-starter with the ability to think outside the box
•   Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills at all levels
•   Maintain and develop a professional relationship with the client’s representative within the limits of the role
•   Ensure that employee timesheets are recorded accurately and processed in a timely manner
•   Ensure that Certificates of Competency have been witnessed, verified and filed
•   Be aware of and ensure that cost codes are used and recorded correctly
•   Monitor, control and ensure that all work is conducted in a manner that ensures that the required quality is achieved within budget and timeframe

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Tertiary Qualifications in Engineering, Science and /or Project Management
•   Minimum of 6 years experience in Aggregates/Quarry Management
•   Project and network integration experience
•   Demonstrable experience in process and systems improvement utilizing the lean methodology
