A leading Non Bank Financial Institution is seeking to recruit qualified and experienced persons with drive and innovation for the following roles:-  Head of Legal & Human Resource

Responsibilities

•   Report to the General Manager on all Legal and HR related matters
•   Prepare monthly Legal and HR reports to management
•   Prepare and review various agreements and documents
•   Ensure the safe custody of all legal and credit security documents delivered to the institution
•   Perfect collateral covering credit facilities including Legal charges / Mortgages
•   Recommend measures to mitigate various legal and HR related risk identified
•   Interpret and advise on employment law
•   Develop a good, reliable and transparent remuneration system for the staff
•   Any other duties that may be assigned from time-to-time

Qualification Required & Experience

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, skills and experience.

•   At least 5 years related work experience with not less than three years in a Managerial Role
•   A master's degree in an added advantage
•   Have adequate knowledge of Ghanaian Legal and Banking Systems
•   Have adequate knowledge of provisions in the Labour Act and other provisions regulating the employer - employee relationship in Ghana
•   Have a Good understanding of corporate governance and practice
•   Have a minimum of LLB and must be called to the Ghanaian Bar
•   Have excellent Communication Skills
