Brakwa-Breman Rural Bank Limited with its head office at Brakwa in the Asikuma Odoben Brakwa District in the Central Region requires the services of suitably qualified individuals to fill the position of Head of Accounts

To provide strategic direction to a community bank on a growth and profit path in conjunction with the Board, and to this end:

•   To head the accounts section of the bank and ensure that the Bank’s accounting books are correctly maintained at all times in a transparent manner
•   To ensure that all statutory returns are filed on time
•   To ensure that the bank meets all tax obligations on time
•   To ensure timely submission of all accounting reports to the board
•   Perform all other duties as directed by the Board of Directors

Qualification Required & Experience

•   University degree in accounting and/or an intermediate qualification in any recognized professional accounting body
•   At least TEN (10) years experience in banking with some rural banking environment as an advantage
•   Good interpersonal and analytical skills
•   Excellent computer proficiency, particularly in data analysis and banking software with knowledge in T24 software
