AngloGold Ashanti Obuasi Gold Mine is currently on a journey to expand the Obuasi Underground Operations with a journey to total Mechanisation and introduction of Decline Mining as well as our existing Shaft operations. We are seeking qualified, experienced and self-motivated Ghanaians to apply for the following roles within the Mine Technical Services and Underground Operation Teams. Qualification Required & Experience

Summary Role Accountabilities

•   5 years experience.
•   Designing of New Ore Blocks
•   Generate Budget, the Stoping Programme and the development schedule for one or two Mine Captains at the Shaft where the Senior Planning Engineer is involved
•   Generate a schedule of work in order to show the sequencing and the timing of work that needs to take place to bring a block into production on schedule
•   Propose the Equipment requirements for any ore block being brought up into production
•   Co-ordinate the collection of information/design from the other Technical sections namely Geology, Geotechnical, and Ventilation for the blocks under this responsibility
