Qualification Required & Experience

Summary Role Accountabilities

•   7 years experience. Short term planning
•   Responsible for the designing of New Ore Blocks
•   Responsible for generating/co-ordinating the Budget, the Stoping Programme and the development schedule for the Mine
•   Responsible for co-ordinating the schedule of work to show the sequencing and the training of work that needs to take place to bring a block/blocks into production on schedule
•   Responsible for proposing the equipment requirements for any one block being brought up into production
•   Responsible for checking the necessary layouts in order to follow the monthly development call produced by himself and the Mine at the end of the month
•   Responsible for the design of an ore block in terms of stability of excavation and pillar size, with the Geotechnical Department
