Job Vacancy For Head of Marketing At Airline Company
This new flagship airline would connect the sub-region with the rest of the world. As part of the start-up team of executives, the relevant position would enable you to have a solid input to the success and direction of this exciting new venture. These are exciting opportunities for experienced professionals. As one of the senior executives within the business you will be a key member of the team to set and develop your department.
As part of the senior management team, you will develop all policies, procedures and systems for a new Airline and will have direct responsibility for the development and implementation of the strategy for this new Airline. We offer competitive compensation and benefit packages.
Reports directly to the Chief Customer Officer (CXO)
Responsibilities
• Act as strategic brand guardian for the airline ensuring the brand proposition and values are understood internally and executed externally through the entire marketing mix. Will be in charge of developing and managing an integrated marketing plan and calendar of activity to support development of the brand and delivery of the commercial sales revenue plan network wide.
• He/she will ensure the airline understands the needs of its current and future customers and develops a strong relationship with its guests through effective communication and customer loyalty programs.
• The Head of Marketing will direct and deliver the airline’s advertising and media strategy from strategy to creative concept and execution network wide and identify and deliver ongoing tactical marketing and PR activity in support of driving sales and reacting as required to competitor and market activity.
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of ten years of relevant professional experience in commercial marketing from banking, telecom or a service-focused sectors with at least five years at senior level
• Experience in leading customer focused marketing and product organisations with a strong track record of supporting profitable revenue growth and customer experience excellence in the major roles he or she has held.
• Experience in successfully creating and communicating a meaningful brand identity
• Experience in strategic brand development in tandem with tactical sales activity across the marketing and communications mix including advertising, below the line, PR, events, online.
