Job Vacancy For Internal Auditors (Western Region)



A fast growing Bank in the Western Region is looking for qualified, experienced, dedicated and reliable persons to fill the position of:- Internal Auditors

Key Accountabilities

•   Plan financial audits in line with the organization’s objectives, structures, policies, processes, internal controls and external regulations
•   Identify risk areas; prepare audit scope and objectives and programmes
•   Investigate instances of fraud and make recommendations to prevent future occurrence
•   Assess risks and internal controls by identifying areas of non-compliance; evaluate financial processes, weaknesses, inefficiency and operational issues
•   Assess compliance with financial regulations and undertake financial statements review and controls

Skills/Competencies

•   Must be a team player with a high sense of commitment and honesty and self-motivated
•   Analytical and keen eye for details
•   Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
•   Supervisory skills
•   Numeracy, strong computer literacy skills and working knowledge of T24 Banking Software
•   Strong interpersonal skills

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A first Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance with 3 years relevant experience in banking industry at supervisory role of Professional accounting qualification (ICA GH, ACCA, CIB, and CIMA) with two years experience in supervisory role
