RTI IS RECRUITING CANDIDATES FOR AN EARLY GRADE LEARNING PROGRAMME IN GHANA

Senior Advisor of Early Grade Learning will provide technical leadership in the design and implementation of a primary grades reading and mathematics education programme.

Working collaboratively with the government, academic institutions and other technical experts, she/he will be responsible for the development of instructional materials and teacher training programmes

Qualification Required & Experience

. Advanced degree in education (Ph.D preferred), with a focus on curriculum and instruction, early grade reading/literacy, teacher training, and/or bilingual education
. Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working in the field of literacy or reading instruction, teacher training or bilingual education
. Demonstrated ability to work with government agencies in the design and implementation of programmes to support literacy and numeracy.
. Prior experience managing other technical experts and staff in a development project context
. All positions require fluency in English; prior experience working on a USAID project is preferred
