Job Vacancy For Accounts Officer (Kumasi)
Job Title: Accounts Officer
Report to: Branch Manager
Job Objective
To be responsible for processing daily cash transitions, timely and accurate writing of all cheques and compliance with the company’s credit control policy.
Main Duties & Responsibilities
• Process financial and accounting transactions in strict accordance with approved Company policies and procedures
• Manage the cash system including cheque/cash payments and receipts
• Manage the Imprest System at the branch
• Prepare weekly Branch Returns and submit same to the Head Office
• Enforce the policy of Credit Control as well as filling up on unpaid premiums
• Carry out any other businesses that may be assigned by the Branch Manager
Qualification Required & Experience
• University degree in Accounting or a related field
• Pursuing professional studies in ACCA or CA Ghana will be an advantage
• A minimum of 2 years relevant working experience preferably in the Insurance Industry.
• Should exhibit high level of integrity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
