A Public Service institution is seeking a versatile, proactive and results-oriented person for the position below.
Job Title: Administrative Manager
Job Purpose: To provide operational support to ensure provision and effective utilization of resources for the delivery of services
Qualification Required & Experience
• A minimum of a Master's Degree from a recongised Tertiary Institution in Social Sciences or relevant field
• Minimum of one (1) year post-qualification relevant work experience in reputable institution

• Knowledge of Financial Administration Act (FAA), 2003, Act 654, Internal Audit Agency Act (IAA),2003, Act 658 and Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2003, Act 663
Duties And Responsibilities
• Formulate and implement human resource policies, processes and procedures
• Coordinate staff recruitment, confirmation, training and development, promotions and disciplinary actions
• Develop / design performance management system for staff
• Collates periodic reports of the department
• Records data for organising payment structures and addressing salary concerns
• Prepares and organises work schedules in line with specified responsibilities and
• Participates in industrial relations meetings and explains the industrial matters to the understanding of the staff
• conduct training needs assessment for all staff
• Ensure provision of health and safety of staff
• Ensure the maintenance of up to date staff records
• Maintain and manage office records
• Supervise the preparation of periodic progress reports on Human Resource Administration
• Ensure effective conflict resolution and grievance management
• Keeps accurate statistical records of every appointment dates, recruitments and salaries to facilitate accessibility to a personnel's employment history
• Ensure the procurement of goods and services in accordance with relevant acts.
• Designs and maintains an effective lending system to ensure access to book, documents, periodicals and other printed matter.
• Designs implements and periodically reviews an efficient and effective records management system
• Implements a system to ensure efficient retrieval and presernation at all files of the Fund Registry
• Supervises the regular inspection of utilities-water, electricity and telephone to prevent/minimise interruption in their supply
• Supervises tje activities of staff and periodically implements training progammes to update their knowledge of current records management practices
• Perform any other duties that may be assigned
