Position Title: Public Relations / Marketing Officer
Division: Public Relations
Location: Head Office
Reports Directly: Managing Director

Purpose
To coordinate and undertake matters relating to communication and marketing at the head office.

Duties

•   Responsible for creating a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations programme that will enhance the Company's image and position within the marktplace and the general public
•   Coordinates media interest in the Company and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests.
•   Acts as the Company's representative with the media by liaising with and answering enquiries from media, individuals and other organisations
•   Writes and edits in-house magazines, journals, reports, publicity brochures, information for websites and promotional videos
•   Prepares and supervises the production of brochures, handouts etc.
•   Organises events including press conferences, exhibitions, press tours etc.
•   Maintains and updates information on the organisation's website
•   Provides clients with information about new opportunities and current projects
•   Responsible for the marketing of Company products and services to the public
•   Develops an annual marketing plan for the sale of houses
•   Proactively established and maintains effective working team relationships with all support departments
•   Ability to oversee all marketing, advertising and promotional activities

Competencies

•   A strong understanding of customer and marketing dynamics and requirement
•   Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in the design and execution of marketing, communications and public relations activities.
•   Strong creative, strategic, analytical, organisational and personal sales skills.
•   Experience in writing press releases, making presentations and negotiating skills
•   Should be computer literate
•   Excellent communicator with strong oral and written communications skills

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Bachelor's degree in journalism, marketing, public relations preferred
•   A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Admnistration, or a related field and three (3) years working experience in marketing, communications or public relations Copied at: ghanacurrentjobs.com
