This comapny focused on developing projects in the African Mining Industry currently have an impressive project and results to date. With production underway, they are posed for rapid growth and development. They are currently looking for a Technical Services Superintendent to come on board and work closely with the Mine Manager to ensure the project continues on its upward trend.

This is an incredible opportuinity for a Technical Services Superinendent looking to challenge themselves both technically and professionally. In this role, you will be primarily responsible for all mine planing and the ongoing development of the mine engineering team. A key focus will be compiling and delivering training programs for nationals and ensuring all LOM, pit optimization and production schedules are in line with budgetary requirements.

Qualification Required & Experience

Your responsibilities will include developing and managing the Mine Engineering teams, managing all mine planning activities, achieveing the financial objectives as defined in the LOM, Supervision of Mine Engineering/Mine Planning personnel and maintaining a constant focus on the business improvement across the entire project.

To be successful in this role you must have:

•   Tertiary qualifications in mining engineering or similar
•   10+ years exposure to working in African remote locations along with an understanding of local cultures
•   5+ years within a senior level role in open pit and hard work mining environments, preferably Gold
•   The ability to manage a team of professionals including mentoring and motivation
•   The right attitude to build and maintain a positive team culture
•   Experience in positively contributing to a strong senior management team
•   English and French language skills preferred
