The Institute of Chartered Accountants-Ghana is the professional accountancy body established by an Act of Parliament to regulate accountancy and audit practice in Ghana.
ICAG is a body corporate established by law, which among others, regulates the practice of Accountancy in the country,including certifying persons who can practise as auditors. It is committed to strengthening the accountancy profession, improving support for members and safeguarding public interest.
Job Summary
Objective
Manage CPD training programmes and ensuring effective member support services e.g, resolving members' queries and enquiries. Manage the Chartered Diploma and any other specialised bespoke courses. Responsible for leading day-to-day member services operations and business process improvements.
Essential duties and responsibilities
• Ensure in-depth knowledge of membership policy and service delivery to members.
• Develop and maintain efficient member service delivery system.
• Assist the implementation and maintenance of business process improvements leading to greater efficiency.
• Ensure accurate collection of data in the department.
• Assist in the publication of members in good standing.
• Ensure systems and processes are in place to assist the upgrading of members professional and technical knowledge through Continuous Professional Development (CPD) programmes.
• Ensure CPD participants' data is accurately reported.
• Ensure CPD facilitators are properly recruited and supported.
• Manage bespoke or specialised training programmes for external organisations.
• Support the Director in the smooth organisation of graduands' Induction, Admission and Graduation events.
• Ensure the members lounge is adequately resourced and maintained.
• Provide monthly reports on set targets.
• Support District societies and Year Groups to improve brand awareness and societies objectives.
• Support associates to convert to membership.
• Any other duties assigned.
Qualification Required & Experience
• Proven aptitude for proactive, excellent customer service.
• Effective problem-solver.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, diplomatic and ability to build relationships with all levels both internally and externally.
• Good organisational, planning and prioritisation skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Good verbal and written communication/presentation skills.
Education/ Training
• Be a Chartered Accountant
• At least three years working experience
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft office suite.
