Description Of Job

We seek a dedicated person with the requisite skills and competencies to fill the position of Security Manager.

Key Responsibilities include:

•  Supervise a network of security officers and vendors who safeguard the company's assets, intellectual property and computer systems, as well as the physical safety of employees and visitors
•  Manage the development and implementation of security policy, standards, guidelines and procedures to ensure ongoing maintenance of security
•  Ensure physical protection of assets, workplace violence prevention, access control systems, video surveillance, and information protection
•  Work with other executives to prioritize security initiatives and spending based on appropriate risk management and/or financial methodology
•  Maintain relationships with local law enforcement and other related government agencies
•  Oversee investigation of security breaches, and assist with disciplinary and legal matters associated with such breaches as necessary

Qualification Required & Experience

•  Bachelor's degree from a reputable university or college
•  Police or Military Service training
•  Between 4-5 years experience with Security Services
•  Must possess good leadership qualities and good communication skills
•  Must have some experience in Business Planning, Audit and Risk Management
•  Must have strong working knowledge of the law
•  Must have a solid understanding of information technology and security systems
•  Must have some managerial experience in training, developing and mentoring staff
