Summary Of Duties

The Following details constitute, but not limited to the description of the job schedule

•   Responsible for the short-term and long-term fiscal health of the bank
•   Develop and manage annual and long-term budgets
•   Oversee status of the bank's investment and make recommendations to maanagement
•   Develop and maintain sound and current financial management systems and written procedures
•   Prepare periodic financial analyses, and manage cash flow
•   Determine the bank's tax positions and the applicability of taxation / non-taxable instruments
•   Manage financial reports and administrative components of agency expansion and change
•   Prepare financial reports and analyses for management and the Board
•   Manage the bank's audit process, including coordination of annual audit
•   Identify and advise Management on the provision of appropriate insurance cover on the following policies - the Bank's property, fidelity guarantee, and any other policies relevant to the Company's operation
•   Prepare financial reports and analyses for Management and the Board

Qualification Required & Experience

•   Must have obtained the relevant academic (minimum of first degree) and /or professional qualification in Accounting / Finance (CA, ACCA, ICAG), with at least five (5) years post qualification experience
•   Conversant with the international Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
•   Good knowledge of Ghanaian Tax Laws
•   Good knowledge in Treasury Management
•   Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
•   Excellent leadership interpersonal skills
•   Good knowledge of Financial Administration Act FAA, 2003
•   Practicing knowledge of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 2003, Act 663
•   Computer literate
•   Experience in the Banking / Financial Sector is a key requirement
