The Centre for Scientific Research into Plant Medicine, Mampong-Akuapem is an agency under the Ministry of Health with a mandate to undertake research and development in plant medicine.

DUTIES

•   Responsible for developing and implementing Centre’s IT Strategic plan.
•   Responsible for developing systems and procedures to facilitate storage and dissemination of research findings, technical reports, scientific journals and seminars in collaboration with the PR department.
•   Responsible for the technical development and maintenance of the Centre’s website to facilitate online information gathering and shall support the PR department in updating contents.
•   Shall undertake any responsibilities assigned by the Executive Director.

SALARY AND CONDITION OF SERVICE

Shall be subjected to the Single Spine Salary Structure and Conditions of Service of Senior officers of the Centre and also the Condition of Service of the Ghana Health Service.

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A post-graduate degree in Management Information Systems. A first degree in the Sciences is preferable but not essential and applicants must have demonstrable experience in the IT fields.
•   Experience in a managerial capacity would be an added advantage.
