A reputable company requires for immediate appointment a suitable candidate as Head Of Finance

•   Establish and maintain the financial systems and procedures of all departments and up-to-date assets register of the Group
•   Ensure that accounting systems and procedures aid the provision of appropriate management information at a minimum cost, and shall assist in advising on financial matters relating to financial planning and procedures
•   Manage the funds of the Group and keep solvent by providing sufficient sources of finance to meet all likely contingencies
•   Undertake periodic review of financial policies in relation to the overall corporate plans and priorities to ensure optimum harnessing of resources of the Group
•   Provide financial information to aid management in decision making particularly in Budgeting and Budgetary Control, Costing and Pricing, Analysis and Interpretation of financial statements and Debtors / Creditor age analysis
•   Ensure that requirement of the group are consolidated into an integrated master plan and appropriate monitoring and evaluation techniques and models are developed to assist in the determination of overall performance
•   Assure management information system requirements and ensure the design of appropriate systems and procedures for inter and intra-sectoral operational collaboration and cooperation to support the activities of the Group
•   Establish and maintain the financial systems and procedures and prepare financial statements reports for the Board of Directors, Management and Tax Authorities
•   Ensure that systems and procedures are established and maintained to guide in the planning, monitoring and evaluation efforts of the group for the purpose of assessing the impact of the policies of the Group.
•   Ensure the effective coordination and analysis of plans initiated by the Group to produce an  integrated master plan consistent with approved corporate objectives and policies
•   Assess the impact of the national budget of government on the operations of the Group and submit Proposals for the consideration of the Chief Executive Officer.
•   Undertake a review of financial policies in relation to the overall corporate plans snf priorities to ensure optimum harnessing of the resources of the Group

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A Bachelor's degree in Finance / Accounting from a recognised university and an MBA or equivalent recognised professional qualification in Financial Management or Accounting
•   A minimum relevant postgraduate working experience of fifteen (15) years

Other Qualities

•   Knowledge of ACCPAC Accounting Software, Micro Property Management Systems, Point of Sale and Material control
•   Hotel industry experience in a similar capacity
