Responsibilities:

The Bilingual Business Development Associate/Sales Associate – is a position that supports the West Africa Sales Manager to develop sales across Francophone West Africa countries and within Ghana, identify and help to develop strategic relationships with partners or potential clients and to support in all sales activities. The BDA is expected to work independently and is a position for a mature, detail and customer oriented individual.

Primary Relationships:

•   Reports to the West Africa Sales Manager
•   BFP Kenya and other BFP subsidiaries
•   Shipping, logistics and accounts department
•   Customers of BFP
•   Outside parties

Summary

•   Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.
•   Personally contacts and secures new business accounts/customers

Qualification Required & Experience

•   A minimum of 2 years business development / sales experience
•   Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
•   Fluent in FRENCH preferably at native Speaker level
•   Candidate should have spent at least one year  in a Francophone Country
•   Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and database management
•   Fluency in other African languages is an asset
•   Excellent customer service skills
•   Ability to meet sales targets
•   Able to work in a multi-cultural environment
•   Past experience in product training and demonstration
•   Excellent administrative and organizational skills.
•   High ethical standards and transparent communication
•   Easily adaptable to function in a changing, dynamic environment.
•   Takes initiative in responding to tasks needing completion.
•   Must be able to manage time appropriately and meet deadlines
•   Flexibility in travel and a PASSPORT is required
